asana & ayurveda workshops

with sarahjoy

Join us for these sessions to more deeply explore the rhythms of nature and ayurveda. We’ll focus on specific poses to create harmony within the seasonal doshas. As the word Dosha means “that which tends to go out of balance,” staying in balance can be a tricky, but intriguing endeavor. It means understanding the rhythms of nature in the cycle of the year, the season, and the day. It also requires us to get to know our own dosha and our imbalance tendencies; and then to address that information with sensitivity, intelligence, and courage.

Each session will be followed by light snacks and tea for visiting with each other.

Intermediate students only.

Pre-registration required - online, by phone or at the studio

saturdays 7 - 9am $30 each

july 24 pitta season
A combination of backbends and cooling poses, followed by tea and snacks. Intermediate and advanced students only.
